Annual Greenway Candy Cane Bread!

I just made the Greenway candy cane bread. Traditionally my mother would make enough to feed 6 kids plus herself and my dad, plus 2 more. So I halved the recipe because I didn't need to feed a small country, and made 2 candy cane breads. Best part?? Well I'm not a fan of the "traditional" filling which contained pineapple, brown sugar, and raisins. So I made up my own filling which consists of red raspberry jam, brown sugar, orange zest and orange juice. It is delectable.

Thanksgiving...ish...

This year we had Thanksgiving at Gina and Jason's house. Turkey and all the trimmings. That also included a rousing game of MW3...as you can see Gina is just THRIIILLED.

Sadly though (and weirdly enough) Kyle's military training and intent concentration did not save him from being slaughtered around a dozen times...

 The day after Thanksgiving was a bit better. Because it was Friday we went to their house and played some games. But instead of playing MW3, Kyle and Jason let the boys look through the scope of his real gun, as opposed to the fake one that killed Kyle so many times.
